Legal
Privacy policy
This policy covers this website only. The Aviator Archive application, and any account or licence you hold for it, are governed by the separate privacy policy ataviatorarchive.com/privacy.
Who we are
This website is operated by Seneboy Ventures Inc., a Canadian corporation operating from the Province of Alberta, Canada. For anything in this policy, write to us through the contact form. We do not publish an email address, because an address on a public page is harvested within days; the form reaches the same person.
What we collect
Browsing this site requires no account and no personal information. We collect personal information in exactly one circumstance: when you send it to us.
Information you send us
If you use the contact form, we receive the name, email address, subject and message you enter. We use them for one purpose — to read your message and reply to it. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not use your address for anything you did not write to us about.
Your message is delivered to our email inbox and stays there as ordinary correspondence. It is not written to a database, a CRM, or a ticketing system. We keep it as long as the correspondence is reasonably useful, and you may ask us to delete it at any time.
Information collected automatically
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, which is why you were not asked to accept any.
Our hosting provider processes technical information inherent to serving a web page — your IP address, the page requested, your browser's user-agent string — as part of delivering the site and protecting it from attack. We do not use this information to build a profile of you, and we do not combine it with anything else.
Service providers
We keep the list of companies who can see your data as short as we can make it. Two of them are involved in this website:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — hosts this site, delivers it, and protects it from abuse. Contact form submissions pass through Cloudflare's infrastructure on their way to our inbox. Cloudflare also provides Turnstile, the challenge shown on the contact form, which is designed to distinguish people from automated traffic without tracking them across sites or setting advertising cookies.
- Our email provider — receives and stores the messages you send us, as it would any other email.
These providers act on our instructions for the purposes described here. Both may process or store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where local law may permit access by authorities in ways Canadian law does not.
Legal basis and your rights
We rely on your consent, given by choosing to write to us, and on our legitimate interest in operating a secure website and answering the people who contact us.
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send the request through the contact form, including an address we can reply to, and we will respond within 30 days. There is no charge, and we will not ask you why.
If you are in Canada and are not satisfied with how we have handled a privacy question, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada. If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, you may complain to your local supervisory authority.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and the contact form is protected against automated abuse. Beyond that, we hold very little personal information about visitors to this site, which is the strongest protection we can offer any of it.
Children
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how this site handles personal information, we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Where a change is material, we will say what changed.
Contact
Privacy questions, requests and complaints all go to the same place: the contact form, addressed to Seneboy Ventures Inc.
